I joined Google as a temporary staff member and participated in three projects. I worked on Scratch, internal education tooling, and a VS Code extension.
As a solo developer on the CS First project, I created complex React prototypes for user testing. The prototypes were a fork of the Scratch editor, a block-based visual programming platform for children. I developed a lessons overlay, implemented validation that checks if the steps were performed, and a hint system that highlights parts of the editor. These required digging deep into Scratch’s React codebase. Through several iterations, I contributed 218 commits, constantly improving through feedback.
Later, I became part of a team, working on the frontend with Google-specific tech on interactive widgets like video and polling widgets for their internal tooling. I improved the team’s snapshot testing coverage and proactively updated four Google-wide docs while learning these tools.
In Paris, I supported the development of a Visual Studio Code extension, focusing on research and experimentation.
I started the Berlin pushup group.

Unu is an electric scooter manufacturer and mobility company. As a frontend engineer, I developed a fleet management web application for scooters, building it from scratch with a teammate using Vue.js and the Ant Design Library. This tool allows you to monitor scooters in the city on a map and administer certain properties.
While mentoring a junior backend developer, I also became involved in backend development.
I simplified the development process by introducing snapshot testing.
Additionally, I contributed to the redesign of the customer-facing website.
I gave tech talks, including a proactive evaluation of switching to TypeScript, and organized a team-building event.

LEO Innovation Lab was a digital healthcare innovation unit established by LEO Pharma. It included several independent projects.
I joined as a founding engineer of the Studies&Me project. I created a patient-facing website for clinical trial signups and developing custom web apps for evaluating, monitoring, and scheduling patients.
I created the React frontend and a Node.js backend and used a database as a service.
In addition to development, I designed the appearance and behavior of most key features and validated them through user and A/B testing.
Automating these processes significantly streamlined patient management, replacing manual workflows.
